Beanum, Jr. reetings in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ, the captain and sooncoming King. To Him we give all honor, glory and praise. What shall we render unto the Lord for all of his benefits toward us? For we hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; wherein times past we walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience; among whom also we had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace we are saved; and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. For by grace we are saved through faith; and that not of ourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them (Eph. 2:1-10). eeing God's grace and mercies toward us, we should always give thanks to Him. "Thanks" is an expression of gratitude, grateful acknowledgement of something received by or done for one, and a giving of thanks to God in the form of prayer, which should be done daily and not only on the annual fourth Thursday of November, which has been instituted as "Thanksgiving Day." We find in 2 Tim. 3:1-5: In the last days perilous times shall come, men would be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof; from such turn away. Knowing this, let's let each day be a day of thanksgiving unto God...Amen. Amen. Amen. Verse for the Month Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms. (Psalm 95:2) Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

2 My Prayer for You Sister Deborah Adams, Editor Father God, Thank You for being God. Thank You for being so awesome, so wonderful, full of power, glory, wisdom and love. There is nobody greater than You. You are The Great I Am. You are The Holy One. You are the Almighty One. We love You. We praise You. We adore You. We bless Your Holy Name. Thank You for Your divine provision for us and our families. Thank You for Your Word that does not return void, but accomplishes that which You please, and it prospers in the thing for which You sent it. We thank You for bringing salvation to our homes, to our children, to our brothers, to our sisters, to our neighbors, and to our churches. We thank You that Your people will not lose heart and grow weary in doing right, for in due season and at the appointed time we shall reap, if we do not lose courage and faint. We thank You that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We thank You that as we continue to praise You that You are restoring the years that the locusts and cankerworms have eaten. It is in the name of Your son, Jesus, that we ask You to forgive us for our sins, Dear Lord. We know You are a forgiving God and we ask that You cover us with the precious blood of Jesus. We ask You to send angels to surround our homes and protect us from every trick of the enemy. We ask that You let God arise in the cities where this newsletter is received. We ask You to let God arise in the homes where this newsletter is read, and Your enemies will be scattered. We thank You for restoring our souls and leading us in the paths of righteousness. We thank You for Your peace that surpasses all understanding as we long as we keep our minds stayed on You. We thank You for joy unspeakable and full of glory. We thank You that we walk in our five named gifts for the perfecting of the saints, the work of the ministry, the edifying of the body of Christ. We praise You that Your people will be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith. Lord, help us to remember that whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Father, we pray for our churches and ministries that they, their leaders and members might become debt-free, the lenders and not the borrowers. We pray and intercede for our pastors, trustees, deacons, missionaries, other church leaders, our president, representatives, senators, judges of our land, policemen and policewomen, governors and mayors, for all those who are in authority over us in any way. We pray that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon them that they will lean not to their own understanding so You may direct their paths. We pray that the upright shall dwell in the governments, that men and women of integrity and blameless in Your sight shall remain, Father, but the wicked shall be cut off. We pray for the stability of our countries upheld by the peoples loyalty. We thank You for reminding us that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven and what we loose will be loosed in heaven, and it is by this authority that we pray. 4 A Responsibility to Lead By Deacon Samuel Titus Smith Praise the Lord, Mighty Men of God! I count it an honor and privilege to share with you. As men of God, we have an awesome responsibility to lead. We lead in the church, we lead in our communities, and we lead in our homes. In leading, many times we face important decisions that need to be made. It is in those times where we must stay in tune with the leading of the Lord to guide us in our decision making. In order to stay in tune with God, we must have God s Word hidden in our hearts (Psalm 119:11). I happened to watch a portion of the TV show Let s Make a Deal recently, and the contestant was trying to win a new car. In order to do so, she had to play a game of chance where she picked certain numbers. If she picked the wrong numbers, she would lose the game. When it was time for her to pick her numbers, she looked to the audience for guidance. The audience screamed numbers to her, Pick #4, pick #5! She had to make a decision. So, too, sometimes it feels that we are on the spot, having to make an important decision for our family, on our job, or in our community. You may have the audience members of your life screaming and pulling at you, telling you to do this or do that. It is in those times that you must have God s Word be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path (Psalm 119:105). You must quiet your mind and listen to the voice of God. John 10:4-5 says that the sheep of God hear His voice, and a stranger they will not follow. Oh, how blessed we are to know that our life is not a game of chance, but that we can have confidence in God, knowing that if we trust in the Lord and lean not to our own understanding, He will direct our path (Proverbs 3:5-6)! Whatever decision you face, as you are leading others, ask God to lead, guide, and direct your steps (Proverbs 16:9). If you do so, you are guaranteed to win every time! God Bless. So Today, I'm going into battle to fight the good fight I can't wait for tomorrow when He's comin' like a thief in the night.. I've got to fight Today, if I want to hear Him say...well Done, my good and faithful servant!!...well Done... And then I'll see my name in His Book and He'll shine His face upon me; that's when I'll know the war is over, my race has ended; and I've truly Won!! Similarly, if we carry the scent of Christ in our daily walk, people will be drawn to us and want to stay for a while. But how do we give off that amazing, inviting fragrance? There s really only one way--by imitating God. By patterning our actions after His. By loving others fully. By seeing others through God s eyes. By looking with great compassion on others who may be hurting, just like Jesus did when He went about healing sick and pouring out His life for people in need. As we live a life of love in front of those we care for, we exude the sweetest fragrance of all Christ. In short, be sweet to those you care for. Even though sometimes you really feel like not being sweet, be sweet anyway. That s one aroma that cannot be bottled. Dear Lord, I long to live a life that points people to You.
