Jesus...is the only name given under heaven whereby we must be Pastor Lynn W. Beanum, Jr. saved. By the love and grace of God we obtained help through 2014, when many said that we would not make it. Truly, had it not been for the Lord who was on our side, there's no way we could've made it. With all of the negative/bad experiences we encountered, we yet received victory and help from above. Hallelujah, to our God! Praise the Lord, No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). By God's grace the year 2015 is upon us. Knowing that God is the same yesterday, today and will be the same forever, we are not to allow the many problems here or abroad to affect us. It's coming to pass as He warned us that it would be, wars and rumors of wars, men's hearts failing them. But if we continue to look up, and trust God with all of our heart, he will never leave nor forsake us. God and only God, knows what 2015 will bring; but God wants the best for his people. Great is His faithfulness. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new e v e r y m o r n i n g : g r e a t i s t h y faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22-23). Don't ever forget if God be for us, He's more than anything against us. He came that we would have life and life more abundantly. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, (Ephesians. 3:20). Let s each of us renew our relationship with God and make more disciples in 2015 than we have ever made before. Amen. Verse for the Month: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: -Colossians 1:28

2 A Word from Our Editor Sister Marilyn Silver Courage to be set Free Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus. We have been blessed to see another year. It is by the grace and mercy of God that we have made it this far. Our prayer for 2015 is Courage! Lord grant us courage to trust you, courage to stay in the race, courage to go against the grain of the world, courage to walk in the truth, courage to stand when falling is the norm, courage to withstand the wiles of the enemy, courage to keep our eyes on the prize, courage to keep the faith and courage to say, Lord thy will be done! May this be a year of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22). Let s remember the vows that we have made and the commitments we have uttered unto the Lord. No need for new resolutions let s build on the ones we ve made and Elders Speak Page 2 STUCK Have you ever been stuck? Stuck in the mud? Stuck in line? Stuck in traffic? Stuck on the side of the road? Stuck in a rut? Stuck between a rock and a hard place? Stuck in your ways? Stuck in the past? Stuck in behaviors, attitudes and habits that are painful, hurtful, and even destructive. When we are stuck, we can't move forward and we can't go backward. We are simply stuck. I m reminded of a man that had been stuck down at the pool of Bethesda for 38 years (John 5: 1-15). He was crippled; he was disabled; he was handicapped; he was stuck. And unfortunately, there are many people today that are stuck. Stuck in PRIDE. Too proud to acknowledge that they need a savior. Stuck in UNFORGIVENESS. I will never forgive them for what they did to me. Stuck in REGRET. I should have done this or I shouldn t have done that. Stuck in SELF PITY. Nobody loves me; nobody is concerned about my did not keep. The old song of Zion says, Search me, O God, and know my heart today, Try me, O Savior, know my thoughts, I pray; See if there be some wicked way in me; Cleanse me from every sin, and set me free. Does anyone want to be free? God is only a prayer away. When He sees our heart is fixed on Him, He will deliver us. For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). He will set us free to worship and praise Him in the beauty of Holiness! Let s trust God to keep us in times of peace and in times of trouble for He s that kind of God. God will give us courage to conquer whatever that thing is that hinders our growth in Him. May God bless us to be courageous and bold soldiers in the Lord. Happy New Year to You! Do you really want to be healed? Do you really want to be delivered? Do you really want to be better? Do you really want to do better. Do you really want to be who God has created you to be? 3 Temple Men Speak HOW TO HAVE A PRO$PEROU$, "HOLY," JOYFUL AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (III John 1:2 KJV). We once again come to the end of this year (2014) and move into a New year 2015, where we typically wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous new year. In the above scripture it was already conveyed that our Great and Awesome God wishes for our prosperity not just in the New year, but above all things. However, John 9:31 (KJV) states, Now we know that God heareth not Temple Women Speak By: Deacon Larry Adams, Sr. sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance (Luke 5:7 KJV). Therefore, as we embark on this New year and wish friends and family a Happy/ Prosperous New year, remember God s scripture wished for us more than 2,000 years ago, above all things that we prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospereth. Nevertheless, we must live HOLY, we must be a worshipper of God, doing His will, for Him to hear us. He deserves our full and complete obedience and devotion. Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16). I love you all with the love of God. Have a PRO$PEROUS, HOLY, JOYFUL AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! By: Sis. Shirley Johnson A Shift in the Body of Christ Praise the Lord and a Happy New Year to all. I just want to take time to thank the Lord for last year. He has blessed us, covered us and put His shield of angels around us through seen and unseen dangers. He protected us on the highways, off the highways, in our homes and on our jobs. God has been mighty good to us. It is a good thing to know that JESUS is the answer to whatever we have to go through. Let s lean and depend on Him, trust Him, take Him at His word. His word is the truth. I am praying for a revival to hit this nation and bring us back on our knees to seek God in these last and evil days. II Chronicles 7:14 states, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. I am looking forward this year to seeing newborn babes in Christ, the daughters of Zion coming forth and the sons of Thunder arising in the body of Christ. I pray to see mighty men of God emerging up and the sisters laying before God in intercessory prayer. I am excited about the shift in the body of Christ. Wonderful greetings to each of you in the name of Jesus. I am so excited to be writing in this brand new year that God has allowed us to see. At the beginning of each year, people make New Year s resolutions for all kinds of things, jobs, cars, relationships, and especially losing weight. Some people are very successful keeping their resolutions. Others slack off almost as soon as the resolution is made. We as Christians make resolutions as well. We say we will go to church more, read our Bibles more, dedicate our lives more, and increase our faith in the Lord. Some of us are able to sustain these commitments while others slack off. This New Year is a great opportunity for us to re-focus our commitments to Christ. Hebrews 12:1 says, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. At the beginning of each New Year we are given the opportunity to start fresh. If we have breath in our bodies, we still have a chance to do better for the Lord. If we weren t as successful in our walk with Christ in 2014, now is the time to get it straight. If we didn t treat our neighbors, loved ones, or friends the best in 2014, now is the time to mend those broken relationships. If we didn t give God the praise we owed him in 2014, now is the time to give him praise. By: Sis. April Sims This New Year is our opportunity to be renewed through the power and salvation of Jesus Christ. When we make a renewed commitment, remember; if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new (2 Cor. 5:17). Psalms 51:10-12 says, Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Welcome to the New Year 2015! We ve only made it this far because of the grace and mercy of God. If there has ever been a time in history that the people of God need to stand, it is now. Every single day and several times a day there are news reports of wars, killings, suicides, murders, hostage situations, and evil everywhere. Now that we are here in this new year we can t delay rededicating our lives to Christ. Ask Christ to renew in us the right spirit and go forward in this race with him. 7 Sister Justine Morris 69, daughter of the late George and Ruth Hazel Talley quietly departed this life on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at her residence after a lengthy illness. On Saturday December 13 th a Celebration of Life for Sister Justine Morris was held at the Temple Of Deliverance HCG, Inc. Mineral, VA where Elder Lynn Beanum is the pastor. Elder Robert Brice officiated the service and Elder Jason Lewis delivered the eulogy. Elder Lewis scripture texts were taken from Job 14:14 and II Corinthians 4: The topic shared was And Now The Rest of The Story. Elder Lewis reminded us to hold on to God and not let our afflictions deter us from seeing Jesus in peace. The Lord encouraged and uplifted our souls in the service. Words of consolation were offered by the clergies, family members and friends. We were inspired through several anointed solos and the choir rendered songs of praise unto the Lord. Thank God that, weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Please continue to pray for the Morris family that God will ever strengthen and keep them in his care. Acknowledgements: The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many comforting visits, messages, floral tributes, prayers, and other expressions of kindness and concerns conveyed during our bereavement. 8 Thanksgiving and Christmas Bags prepared by the Missionaries and Volunteers The Missionary Department along with many volunteers worked diligently to prepare Thanksgiving and Christmas Bags for the local communities/families and Health Care facilities. The mind to work was evident as the volunteers shopped, packed and delivered the items. Appreciation and thanks to all who donated food, funds, time, energy and your prayers for the success of these projects. To God be the glory for allowing the Temple Of Deliverance to serve and work in the vineyard. The Missionaries and several volunteers also accompanied Elder Clinton Porter, Sr. to the Louisa Health Care Facility during the Christmas Holidays. We spent quality time with the residents delivering Christmas bags, singing Christmas carols, praying and being blessed through words of encouragement. It was a special blessing to have our youth accompany us there and take part in sharing the good news of Jesus. Please continue to pray for the Missionary Department and the president Sis. Roberta Johnson as we all strive to do the will of the Lord. C H R I S T M A S Thanksgiving Bags (35) C A R O L I N G The Sisterhood Auxiliary Annual Day On December 6 th the Sisterhood Auxiliary celebrated its annual day. The theme was The Total Apostolic Woman: Complete In Him. Our anointed Mistress of Ceremonies was Sis. Norma Trice of Life Changing Ministries, COOLJC Louisa VA. She inspired us to give the Lord all the praise. The Lord was with us from beginning to ending with a touching poem read by Sis. Sandra Woolfolk, titled Apostolic Woman by Maya Angelou; inspirational songs by The Silver Sisters, and our speaker, Lady Melissa Fields, shared words of encouragement using our theme topic. She spoke words of wisdom and life that motivated our souls to hold fast to God s unchanging hands. We were also blessed to enjoy a wonderful camaraderie as we dined in the fellowship hall with our sisters and brothers in the Lord. Thanks to all who prayed, assisted and supported the service. Please continue to pray for the Sisterhood Auxiliary and the president Sis. Michelle Smith, as we all journey forward being led by the spirit of the Lord. 9 His Strength to Preserve Dear Christian caregiver, do not assess the difficulties which lie ahead of you based on your puny strength. The Lord has His strength available for you in accordance with the difficulty of each day that you face. You just have to be willing to avail yourself of that strength and depend on Him alone. Watch for what the Lord can do for you! The Lord walks beside you, in front of you and behind you. More importantly, Christ is in you, dear Christian caregiver; and you are in Him. The light of His presence and power shines upon you and is within you. An awareness of God s presence and power in you gives you joy and the strength to persevere under the sometimes heavy load of care -giving. This awareness opens up peace and hope, as you walk the care-giving road. Posted by Sharon The problems of care-giving are often many and heavy. Do not focus so intently on the problems, however, dear caregiver, that you forget to focus on the Lord. Do not think you have to conquer the everyday problems immediately or on your own. This method only leads to anxiety and defeat. Instead when a caregiving problem rears its ugly head bring the matter to the Lord and talk with Him about the problem. Suddenly you will then be able to see things from the Lord s perspective. You will also remember that He is with you and in you with His power and presence helping you face these problems. You may often wonder how you can find your way through the difficult maze of family caregiving. Remember the Lord holds your hand and will guide you through this. You only have to see the few steps ahead of you. So focus on Him and trust Him to lead you through the maze.
