1 33 rd Sunday in OT 15 th November 2015 Vol. 33 No. 49 A big thank you to all who attended the Dinner last Saturday. It was a successful and fun evening, kicking off the celebration of the 800 th Dominican Jubilee. It was also a farewell Fr. David who left for Adelaide this weekend. A special thanks to all who helped decorate and set up the hall, the many who helped with the cleanup at the end of the evening, and those who returned the next morning for the final tidy-up. Healing Mass 19 th November 10.00am In preparation for the Christmas season, come to the next Healing Mass in our Church. Bring your elderly parents or friends and those suffering any illness. During the Mass the Agape Prayer Group will lift your spirit in song and Rosary Care will provide morning tea afterwards. Ring Christine or Dorothy if you require transport The Parish AGM will be held next Sunday 22 nd November at 11 am. THE ARCHBISHOP S. CHRISTMAS APPEAL FOR LIFELINK will be held throughout the Archdiocese this weekend. 14 th /15 th November. If you did not collect Archbishop Costelloe s personal letter at Mass last weekend, please collect one as you leave and read his message or use one of the special giving envelopes which have been provided on the pews for you today. We urge you to give generous support to help the work of our Archdiocesan social service agencies and help people in need. You can mail your Gift in the reply paid envelope provided or return your envelope & donation to the Parish any time in the coming weeks. Rosarians Christmas afternoon Tea Tuesday 1 st December 2 4 pm The Sisters of Saint Catherine s have generously offered to host a Christmas afternoon tea at the Convent, 33 Williamstown Road, Doubleview on Tuesday 1 st December at 2 4 pm.
