2 The Charity of the Month collection. Thank you to all who donated to Mary's Meals last Sunday which raised 208, which is enough to provide a meal in school for 16 children for a whole year. PRAYER REQUESTS Please pray for: Those mentioned in the Daily Prayer Calendar in the magazine. All those in particular need of God s comfort and healing, including, Bill Abbott, Liz Atkinson, George Bell, Harry Bell, Eilidh Hallett, Mary Hartnell, Doreen Hooton, Vera Newman, Harriet Ridley, Don Wade, Carole Ward, Josh Winch, Christopher White, John Willis and all the patients at the Friary Hospital. We commend unto God s merciful keeping those who have recently died. We pray that God will bring comfort to all who mourn their loss, including Peter Dinsdale, Patricia Polson, Connie Reed, Ronald Brown and Patsy Kane. 3 Electoral Roll Revision - Prior to the APCM on Sunday 25th March at 11.30am we are required to have a revision of the Electoral Roll. If you have recently moved into the area, come to this church or have not previously registered, and are aged over 16 then please fill in a form which is available at the back of the church under the rota sheets. Make a Mothers Day is an annual appeal for Mothering Sunday. Anyone wishing to make a donation to the work of Mothers Union both here and abroad in memory of their Mother or just as a donation please see Margaret Clayson (8am) or Christine Stedman and Susan Scrafton (10 am). Leaflets giving more information at the back of church. Good news! The next Community Exhibition will be held here in St Mary's over the May Bank holiday weekend, Friday 4th - Monday 7th May, the weekend that the Tour de Yorkshire sets off from Richmond Market Place. Whether you choose to create an exhibit yourself or to come along to see the exhibition when everything in place you will be very welcome. Refreshments will be provided by the Belles of St Mary's and there will be Bell tower tours and other activities. Contact for more information: Tel: Parish magazine production. Would you be able to spare a couple of hours a month to help with the collation of the parish magazine? A small group meet one evening a month to put the magazine together. Offers of help to deliver the magazine would also be very gratefully received. Please contact Keith Robson for further information on Round Pound Collection. Thank you to all who have put their Round pounds into the collection box at the back of church, raising 36. Please check your pockets and furniture once more and give these old coins a good home. 4 We are looking at the possibility of running Confirmation Classes later in the year. We already have interest from 4 people from Fun- Key Church. Sunday 25th March at 11.30am, after morning worship APCM - Please come and support this important meeting as we briefly look at the year just past and set things in place for the year ahead. There will be four vacancies on the PCC to be filled. Nomination papers are available at the back of church. Please return them to Jennifer Patrick or one of the Church Wardens prior to the meeting. The Service of Collation and induction of the Rev d Martin Fletcher will take place on Thursday 26 th April 2018 at 7.30pm at St. Mary s Church. All very welcome.
