6 Using technology to support praying for children This week radioalba recorded two primary pupils of Our Lady of the Rosary Primary for an Advent Morning Prayer to send round schools. The music was provided by Magdalen MacInnes formerly of St George s Primary and it will be available from the 4 th December on the radioalba Morning Half-hour at 8.15 and every subsequent 30 miniutes until noon for the whole of that week. We will make the Morning Prayer available to all our schools next week giving them the written word and the recorded songs and reading and prayers. A few years ago we would have had to post it all on paper and we couldn t then record it to let the children have a more immediate sense of prayer happening. A Morning Prayer for Advent Let us pray: Lord, as we look towards Christmas renew our love of all that is life and our enthusiasm for living it. Let our journey towards Christmas be full of hope for good things to come, We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. Intercessions As we journey through Advent we pray for ourselves and for all young people at the start of their journey through life. Lord, hear us We pray for migrants and refugees & all who have lost their homes: Let them be treated with kindness. Lord, hear us We pray for the people of our own city and our neighbourhood. Lord, hear us Our Father Blessing May the Lord bless us, And keep us from all harm, and lead us to eternal life. Amen 6

Let us pray God, our loving Father, St Andrew sought the Messiah, and when he found him he introduced Peter, the Greek visitors, and the little boy with loaves & fishes, to your Son, Jesus Christ. May we be like him in sharing friendship and hospitality, and in faithfulness to Jesus and his Kingdom of justice, love & peace. May our country be a community in which everyone matters, everyone has an honoured place, and the dignity of each is assured by our faith in you as Father of us all. We ask this through Christ our Lord. AMEN 7
