The total number of individual volunteers required over the course of a week of hosting is 42, not including the leaders. Many of our volunteers continue to help in more than one way each time we host. 21 individuals indicated at our conversation in June that they felt we should continue the ministry and that they were willing to serve as volunteers. As this is half of the number of volunteers required, I believe that the overriding opinion is that we should discontinue our relationship with the ministry. If you disagree, please let me know prior to October 21, as I will plan to notify the leadership of Family Promise, prior to November 1, of our intention to step down as a host church, effective after our host week of November 11 18, Thanks, Mel Gantney
