Established in 2010 through a merger of St. Margaret Mary and St. Gregory the Great Parishes, Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish is a vibrant center of Catholic worship, education, Faith formation, service, evangelization, and community life. Anointing of the Sick Celebrated at Masses annually during October for those able to attend. 3 FROM THE PASTOR S DESK... My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, During this month of November, let us continue to pray for our beloved dead. Perhaps you might plan on visiting a cemetery where some of your loved ones are buried. Combine viewing the beautiful fall colors with a special prayer for our beloved. In your charity, please pray for David Perez, the father of Bishop Perez. Mr. Perez passed away this past week. May David rest in the peace of Christ and may Bishop Perez and his family find strength and peace. Also, I would ask you to pray for the for the Bishops of the United States who are having their Episcopal Conference meeting. As we pray for our bishops during this difficult time, let us also pray for all who have suffered. As we approach Thanksgiving, let us take time to be thankful for our many blessings. If your family or someone you know from the parish needs a little help to make Thanksgiving Dinner a little better, please do not hesitate to call me personally. We have some funds to help, so do call and let me know of your need. Also, could you or someone you know make use of a gas stove and oven? A very kind parishioner is offering a used stove to a good home. Please let me know. Finally, I believe that we, as a parish, could do a great deal more than we are already doing to help those in need in our community.
