Baptisms: First and third Sundays of each month at 1:00 p.m. Preregistration required. Parents must have completed a diocesan-required Pre-Baptism class. Pre-Baptism classes: Classes are offered the 4th Sunday of January, April, July and October at 1:00 p.m. in Mary s Room. Pre-registration is required. Call the Parish Office. Marriages: Engaged couples should make their arrangements with the priest at least 6 to 12 months in advance of their wedding. Funerals: Contact your funeral director of choice and after meeting with them, ask them to call the Parish Office to arrange date and time. Holy Communion for the Homebound: Please call the Parish Office whenever a family member is seriously ill or hospitalized. Arrangements can be made to bring Holy Communion to the homebound. Sponsor Requirements: All requests for sponsor certificates must be directed to a priest. Individuals must be registered and practicing members of this parish, at least 16 years of age, and have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. 3 from the Pastor s Desk... My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Happy Trinity Sunday! This Sunday gives us an opportunity to reflect upon the Faith that we hold hear. Every Sunday we recite the Creed, the statement of our beliefs as Christians. Central to those beliefs is the Blessed Trinity: that there is one God and Three Divine Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Today, I want to congratulate our Corpus Christi Academy Graduates who were recognized at a graduation ceremony at St. Gregory the Great Church this past Thursday. God bless this wonderful Class. Dear young people: Continue to use all of the Gifts God has given you, that have been strengthened at our Academy, to do great things in the world. We extend words of congratulations to all High School and College graduates from the parish. May God bless each and every one of you! We look forward to hosting the Benedictine and Lyceum commencement ceremonies here at our parish this coming week. Finally, as we celebrate Memorial Day, let us take a moment to remember all those who have given their lives for our nation, ever mindful of their ultimate sacrifice. Perhaps you might stop at the statue of Our Lady of Peace on the side of the church, read the names of the fallen from our parish and offer a little prayer for them. Let us also remember those of our parish who are currently deployed and whose names appear on a list located outside of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Please say a prayer for them, for Archbishop Broglio, Bishop Buckon, and all of the chaplains, and for all those who are in the military. May God keep them safe. Please join us for a Special Memorial Day Mass at 8:30 a.m. on Monday followed by coffee and donuts. May God s blessings be yours this Trinity Sunday. 7 May 27, 2018 the most holy trinity Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus The annual Diocesan Anniversary Mass for those in our Diocese who are celebrating 50 years of marriage will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, East 9th Street and Superior Avenue, Cleveland. The Mass will begin at 2:30 p.m. Bishop Martin Amos will preside. Please register online at or call our Parish Office ( ) to register. The deadline is Monday. June 25, and that date is FIRM for those who wish to have their names included in the Celebration Booklet. In early or mid-july, we will send a confirmation letter directly to the Jubilarians via , along with the instructions, map and driving/parking directions. The Diocesan Center of the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will celebrate the annual Mass of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, June 8, 2018 at St. Therese Church in Garfield Hts., Ohio at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to celebrate the Mass on this the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
