Howvr, I am on of thos who ar singl prmanntly. My lonlinss has bn long-lasting. Evr sinc I can rmmbr, slf-pity has bn a rcurring thm in my lif. Unfortunatly, I did not raliz that thinking this way is a srious problm. Slf-pitying bcam my habit. My brain automatically lookd for rasons to fl sorry for myslf vn in momnts of plasur. Whil ating chocolat I thought: I am rally fat ; whn at a party I was imagining: I look th worst of thm all, and whn singing in a choir I said to myslf: God, I am singing out of tun. Whn yars passd (and I was still singl), th following toxic motto buzzd in my had: I am going to b alon forvr, I will nvr mt anyon I hit rock bottom and found myslf in a hol which I had dug for myslf ovr th yars, day aftr day. I had no strngth to do anything. I lost all hop in myslf. Today thr is no trac of that painful priod of fling low. I am happy, although I am still singl. What has changd? I mad a dcision: I will giv up slf-pitying and choos to b gratful.
