Easter is such a special time and the Church encourages us to celebrate it for 8 days - an octave, and so today marks the beginning of Easter week. 2 RCIA - Please remember in your prayers all those who were received into the Church this Easter. We pray especially for Graham and Marie. Reconciliation - Last Saturday in every month at St Pius X or every Saturday at 5pm. Baptism - This Sunday we welcome Cian Carretta into the family of God as he receives the Sacrament of Baptism. Congratulations and welcome. If you are thinking about preparing your child/children for Baptism please speak to Fr Gerry after Mass. First Holy Communion - Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 17th April at 4pm. During this session all children will begin preparing for making the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It is very important that you bring your children to Mass every week. Please remember in your prayers Leo,Anthony,Kitty-Rose,Franco, Samuel, Freddie, Isabella, Xavier, Noah, Mia, Kirsty & Aiden. Confirmation -Please keep Allysha, Leo, Aiden and Ricardo in your prayers. Breakfast at The Wellspring Starts next Saturday and then the first Saturday of the month am Mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa s followed by a cooked or Continental breakfast in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere ~ open til 11am. Come worship and receive from the Lord, then spend time and be nourished with your Church family.the perfect beginning to the weekend! As always, The Wellspring runs on a donation principle only and all breakfast profits will go towards funding our proposed new Lady Altar Parish Social Events 24th June - Parish Summer Party. This year we have a Festival theme and are looking forward to starting planning our summer afternoon of fun. Our first planning meeting will take place on Tuesday 17th April at 8pm. 3 Church Notices Healing Mass - Tuesday 3 rd April 2018 at 7.30pm Mass with laying on of hands and the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. We receive no other funding so thank you. Brentwood Diocese News Prayer Vigil for Vocations St. George s, Shoeburyness are holding a Prayer Vigil for Vocations on Saturday 21st April. Beginning with Mass at 10am and followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 10.30am. We will then finish with Benediction at 4pm. All are most warmly welcome to come and join us as we pray for Vocations to the Priesthood and Consecrated Life. Mass for Migrants, Monday 7 th May (Bank Holiday Monday), 11am, Southwark Cathedral. 4 decades the Church has welcomed people from many shores, and this Mass celebrates the international diversity of our congregations. Celebrated by the Archbishop of Southwark, with our own Bishop Alan, and many priests and people from across London, Essex, Kent and Hertfordshire, this Mass is full of joy. All are welcome.
