FATHER/ SON BANQUET: The Annual Father/Son Banquet will be held on Wednesday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. All Fathers and Sons and friends are invited to attend. The menu includes ham, baked potatoes, green beans, carrots, cranberry sauce, applesauce, pickles, dinner rolls, ice cream torte for dessert, coffee, white and chocolate milk and water as beverage choices. Entertainment for the evening will be Acoustic Guitarist, Pete Scheuermann. Pete also plays the banjo, and what is known as "clawhammer" style of frailing. The cost of the banquet is $7.50 for adults, $3.75 for children (6-12). Children 5 and under are free. Tickets are available from members of the Men s Club or you may call or visit the church office. BRUNCH AT TOWN AND COUNTRY: Just a reminder that brunch is today at 12:30 p.m. at Town and Country for those who reserved a spot. PIZZA SALE: There are order forms on the table in the Narthex. The date to make and pick up pizzas is Saturday, November 10. There is a volunteer signup sheet on the table in the Narthex. If you are able to volunteer anytime from 7:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. it would be greatly appreciated. Many volunteers are needed to make this a successful fund-raiser. COLLEGE ADDRESSES: Do you have a child in college? CWF makes Love Packets for our College Students. If we do not already have your child s address on file, please call or Toni in the church office. NEEDED FOR THE PARSONAGE KITCHEN: The kitchen table and chairs in the Parsonage are in bad condition. If you have a Kitchen table and chairs that you would like to donate, please contact Jeff Sixel at or at jeffsixel@tds.net

4 STEWARDSHIP SIGN UP: Stewardship time is a GREAT time for you to learn how you can be an active part of Trinity Lutheran Church. All Trinity Members are asked to sign-up for a date and time that is convenient for you. It takes approximately 1 hour. There is a binder on the table in the Narthex which includes separate sign-up forms for each day offered. You may also call or the church office to reserve your spot. LUTHERAN HIGH is having a fall sampler concert on Monday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lutheran High Gym. Upon this Rock will feature the Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Chamber Choir and Konzertchoir. Each group will perform 1-2 selections highlighting their work on fundamental and comprehensive musicians in the classroom. There is a free will offering. The difference is our church gets a percentage for every scrip card purchased. You don t have to be a member of Trinity to purchase scrip cards from us. Instead of writing a check to any of these stores for your everyday or Christmas purchases why not purchase these store cards right through our church and use them to pay for your purchases.
