Luke (12:09-3U) records Jesus* answer to this question. He said,. "And seek ye not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after; and your Father knoweth that ye have need Of thesethings. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew (6:7-8) records Jesus" instructions on prayer as follows, "But when ye pray, use not vain, repetition, as the heathen do; for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them; for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask him." When Mary sat at the feet of Jesus trying to comprehend the Kingdom of God, Martha developed -a- case of nerves as she prepared the meal and finally asked Jesus to bid Mary to help her. His answer is recorded by Luke (11:41-42) as follows, "Martha, Martha, thou are careful and troubled about many things; but one thing is needed; and Mary has chosen that good part which ghall not' be taken away from her." Are you troubled about many thing's? Are they proper things? Do they merit as much considera- ' t'icn as ycu give them? Do y 'J knew what Jesus taught? He is the greatest teacher.
