11 Prayer Vigil - November 2 and 3 Evening, and morning and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice. Psalm 55:17 This is a time to focus on spiritual growth, for each of us as individuals and for our congregation. An hour of quiet time in silent prayer is something that many of us may never have done before. It is a time of personal spiritual growth as we share our thanks and our concerns with God. It is also a time of community growth as we pray for the concerns of other members. Come to the Prayer Vigil: Starting at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 2, we will hold a Prayer Vigil here at Saint Andrew s. Everyone is encouraged to come and spend an hour in silent prayer. Bring your praise, your thanks and your concerns to God. Pray for our church, its members and all of those in need. Pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ through the prayer requests that have been submitted for this vigil. Meditate on scripture and listen for God s guidance. The Hours: The Prayer Vigil is from 12:00 noon - 10:00 pm on Friday, November 2 and from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 3. Quiet Hours: The hours of 6:00 pm on Friday and 10:00 am on Saturday will be quiet without any background music. So, if you prefer this, sign up for one of these hours. Special Hour for All Ages: The hour at 7:00 pm on Friday will be a special hour of prayer for all ages. It will include prayer activities connecting to God in a variety of ways: writing/drawing, prayer by color, etc. (Great for families probably not as quiet as the other hours.) Sign up for the prayer vigil in the narthex or by contacting Dick or Debbie Szabo. Submit prayer requests for this vigil using cards available in the narthex. Place the prayer request cards in the Prayer Box in the narthex or in the offering plate.
