Llámanos a tu servicio, O Señor, y enséñanos a reconocer tu voz. Feb/Ago...nestros seminaristas. Mar/Sep...nuestros religiosos. Abr/Oct...nuestros matrimonios. May/Nov...todas las personas solteras. Jun/Dic...nuestros sacerdotes y diáconos. Thanks to everyone who participated in the photography sessions for the directory. If you were not able to schedule an appointment and would like your family's picture included, you may submit a picture. Any professional photograph needs a copyright release. Please contact Sara Niemann at if you have any questions. ANNUAL APPEAL CHALLENGE A parishioner has approached Father Al about making a matching challenge gift of up to $4000. The donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, would match dollar for dollar up to this level. EL MÁS GRANDE ENTRE NOSOTROS No estoy yo aquí? No soy tu Madre? No estás bajo mi sombra? A quién admiras? Copyright J. S. Paluch Co. NATIONAL VOCATION AWARENESS WEEK November 5-11 National Vocation Awareness Week (NVAW) is an annual celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States, dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life. Compared to 50 years ago, there are 20,000 fewer priests and 130,000 fewer religious sisters? At the same time, the Catholic population has continued to grow steadily. During Vocation Awareness week, please pray that young people in today s society will hear and respond to God s call. And do your part to encourage them to consider the priesthood and religious life.

6 6 EVANGELIZATION COMMITTEE We Are Called Pete Chiericozzi, Chair That All May Know Christ (John 17:3) WHAT SEPARATES FROM GOD? At the SHARING CHRIST session this past Sunday, the group of attendees were challenged to know the circumstances that separates all of humanity from God. It is sin; but are we aware that each sin is not just an act unto itself, it creates a gap between us and God. A separation that must be healed. What bridges the gap? It is God s love that he sent his Son to us as the way for us to return to him. Through confession, we return to the good graces of God. We also learned what God wants to hear when we ask. God, can I enter heaven? The answer surprised us what God asks of us on this earth and our passage to heaven. The learning continues on these inspiring and thought provoking sessions called SHARING CHRIST. This week-end will be Inviting Others to Meet Jesus. Looking forward to it.
