There is no place where earth s sorrows are more felt than up in heav n; there is no place where earth s failings have such kindly judgement giv n. For the love of God is broader than the measure of our mind; and the heart of the Eternal is most wonderfully kind. But we make God s love too narrow by false limits of our own; and we magnify God s strictness with a zeal God will not own. There is plentiful redemption in the blood that has been shed; there is joy for all the members in the sorrows of the Head. There is grace enough for thousands of new worlds as great as this; there is room for fresh creations in that upper home of bliss. If our love were but more simple, we should take God at His word; and our lives would be all gladness in the joy of Christ our Lord. ANDREW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, PLANO, TX Sunday, July 10 10:50am, Sanctuary Everyone is encouraged arrive early for this ministry in music from Salt & Light Youth Choir. Help support these wonderful young people and receive their gift of music! Directed by Phillip Haworth and accompanied by Dr. Jonathan Gregoire, this acclaimed youth choir (35 students, ages 13 18), rehearses weekly and leads in worship during the school year. The choir has traveled across the US during their annual summer tours, however, this is their first appearance in New York City. Amid much sightseeing, other concert venues for them include Castle Clinton Plaza, Asser Levy Recreation Center, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and the Brooklyn United Methodist Church Home.
