4 Information PRAYERS FOR PEACE RIBBONS Yellow ribbons on our fence represent US military casualties in Afghanistan. A refurbishment of this beloved project begins soon, as we also prepare an indoor installment in honor of our Iraq and Afghanistan service personnel. People: We are Christ s followers, His present-day disciples, the ones to whom He has entrusted His ministry of love and mercy to the world. We are Spirit-led believers. People: We trust that God is near to us, that unseen arms wrap around us, that divine whispers comfort us, that sacred wisdom informs and guides us, and that we are not alone. We believe that God is revealed to us in three ways: Creator, Savior, and Spirit, and that one God knows our names and loves us. People: We belong to God and seek to live as faithful servants.
