IN MEMORIAM Ms. Gail Kitselman died August 22, PRAYERS FOR PEACE RIBBONS Yellow ribbons on our fence represent US military casualties in Afghanistan. Ribbons honoring US casualties in Iraq are being prepped for an indoor installation. We have not forgotten those men and women and the sacrifices they have made. MANY THANKS TO THE DOZENS OF VOLUNTEERS WHO HAVE MINISTERED THROUGH MUSIC WITH THE MARBLE SUMMER CHOIR over the past 14 weeks. Rehearsals begin Wednesday, September 10. AS PART OF THE ONGOING MARBLE PIPE ORGAN PROJECT, you will notice that our current organ and choir have been relocated from the Choir Loft to the South Balcony. We collect for various food banks which serve atrisk families. Donate regular and individual size toiletries to help support mothers with children under 12 years of age at Icahn House East. Donate Metrocards for LGBTQ Youth in Crisis served by The Church at St. Luke in the Fields, a partner in mission with our GIFTS Fellowship. Metrocards should contain at least one full fare. The drive runs through September 21, but we want to have most supplies delivered before schools open. Please bring your donation to the Action Volunteer Table during Coffee Hour in the Marble Loft.
