2 FROM OUR PASTOR: FATHER MARK KELLEHER Because people plan which Christmas Mass to attend around their family plans, here are changes to the Christmas Mass schedule. Please note these changes on your calendar. Christmas Eve Masses 4:00 pm 6:00 pm 8:00 pm Christmas Day Masses: 9:00 am 11:00 am Holiday Office Hours Holy Family Parish Offices will be closed From noon on Dec. 22nd and opening on Dec. 28th. in observance of Christmas. Offices will be closed on December 31st and January 1st in observance of New Year s Holiday. In case of emergency, call THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Holy Family s Giving Tree All gifts from the Giving Tree should be returned unwrapped to the hall by (today) December 4th. Last year was an immense success thanks to our caring parishioners who ensured each child and family had a wonderful Christmas! The St. Vincent DePaul Society would like to thank our WONDERFUL office staff and parishioners who generously supported our Thanksgiving Day Basket Project. You provided us with the turkeys, food items, script cards and the money we needed. With the support of everyone we were able to provide thirty families in our area a Thanksgiving Day dinner they otherwise would not have had. 3 RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND YOUTH MINISTRY Mare Draper, DRE or by phone: RELIGIOUS EDUCATION There will be No Children s Liturgy Of the Word on Sunday December 11 th. Next CLOW will be on Jan. 8, HO, HO, HO! Santa is coming to Holy Family on Saturday, December 10 th! Tickets are available online at religioused. Cost: $11 Adults, $6 Children 10 and under and include a pancake breakfast with sausage/bacon, juice and café bar as well as crafts and activities. Two seatings are available: 8:30 and 10:30am and promise to sell out quickly! REMINDER: Canned Goods for our Giving Tree Baskets are needed. Contribution contest drawing will be held week of December 6 th! Camden Toy Drive is back again this year! We have been contacted by our partners at DeSales Service Works/CASA Services for help to provide children s Christmas gifts for families in need. This year they hit an all-time high of 480 students! Holy Family and other organizations/ friends have rallied together in the past to make their program a success! We hope to do this again! Simply bring in a child s new, unwrapped toy to the Parish or RE Office by December 15th and we will deliver the gifts! All age level gifts appreciated! Thank you! YOUTH MINISTRY *High School Sunday Nite Lites: Our next gathering will be held on December 4th from 7-9pm. Her husband died in 1946; Elizabeth had to raise their six children as a single mother. She lost many jobs because of her faith, but she never lost her faith in Jesus Christ. Her spiritual journal has been examined and approved by the Church for our study and our growth in faith. Mr. Anthony Mullin is the National Coordinator for the Flame of Love Devotion. He will be giving a dynamic talk on the devotion and how the Flame of Love relates to Our Lady of Fatima and the triumph of her Immaculate Heart on Monday, December 12, at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Fatima Church.
