2 FROM OUR PASTOR: FATHER MARK KELLEHER Divine Mercy Parish Mission JESUS I TRUST IN YOU Thank you to everyone who attended the Divine Mercy Parish Mission. It was a success! A special thank you to Father Dan Cambra for his informative, humorous and thought provoking talks on the Divine Mercy Chaplet and its beginnings. The Divine Mercy Chaplet itself is so moving, and when all of the voices in the congregation joined in with Father Mark and the Cantor, it was simply too beautiful to express. Hearts were filled with Jesus love. Time to Start Planning Summerfest is 78 days away. SummerFest Volunteer signups start LAST ALUMINUM CAN COLLECTION May 7/8, after all Masses We need hundreds of volunteers. There are plenty of jobs to choose from and we need all the help we can get: May 8 th is the Last St. Vincent depaul Aluminum Can Collection. Due to the declining value of aluminum, we will not be collecting aluminum cans for St. Vincent depaul after May 8 th. We thank Peter Drake for more than 15 years of faithful service through all kinds of weather. Your dedication to this ministry has been an inspiration. June This year we will be doing Cave Quest where we be Following Jesus, the Light of the World. Please call the Religious ED to sign your children up for this wonderful experience. YOUTH MINISTRY Confirmation 2016 Confirmation Session 4 will be held on Sunday, May 15 th in the Parish Hall for parents and candidates. Sponsors are also welcome to attend! The day starts at 12pm Mass followed by the session until 3:30pm. If you have outstanding paperwork, please be sure to bring it with you! See you soon! PRIESTS RETIREMENT FUND COLLECTION: The weekend of May 14 & 15 we will hold a special collection for the Diocesan Priests Retirement Fund. This fund is becoming vital as more and more of our priests reach the age of retirement. Your donation will be used to support the many fine priests who have dedicated their lives to service of the faithful of Delaware and Maryland s Eastern Shore. You can meet four of our retired priests; Fr. Raymond Forester, Msgr. Daniel McGlynn, Fr. Leonard Kempski and Fr.
