2 FROM THE PASTOR S DESK An Opportunity to Memorialize a Loved One Through a generous donation we have been fortunate to acquire two beautiful portraits for our church The Divine Mercy and Our Lady of Guadalupe. I would like to continue the theme by hanging portraits of saints in the other spaces around our church. Any individual, family, or group who would like to donate a portrait in memory of a loved one is most welcome to do so. Between the painting and the framing the cost is around $ Payment can be made in full or in installments by the parish sending a monthly bill. Abraham trusted the Lord s call even though it made no sense to him. Have you ever thought that God might be calling you to something that wasn t originally part of your plans? Something that maybe your family and friends didn t understand? Something that seemed almost impossible? Many priests and religious had that experience as they tried to discern God s plan for them. If that sounds familiar and if you think God might be calling you to a religious vocation please call or write Father Norm Carroll, Diocesan Director of Priestly and Religious Vocations ( ; vocations@cdow.org).
