YOUTH MINISTRY Confirmation2016 Confirmation Session 3 will be held on Sunday, April 10 th in the Parish Hall for parents and candidates. Sponsors are also welcome to attend! The day starts at 12pm Mass followed by the session until 3:30pm. If you have outstanding paperwork, please be sure to bring it with you! See you soon! HIGHSCHOOL SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP: Please see website for details and additional information! Jesus House Service Opportunities: Setup, serve and cleanup retreat meals at the Jesus House Formation Center. Great Opportunity for Confirmation/Sponsor day together. Adult Formation Hope Garden Hope Garden is a parish run garden at Holy Family. We strive to grow fresh, organic produce to support the parish food pantry. If you would like to participate this season, stop by the office and fill out a registration form. The cost to lease a plot is $50 (financial assistance is available). 4 Parish News and Happenings 2016 Annual Catholic Appeal Blessed are the Merciful for They Shall Obtain Mercy In today s Gospel, St. John tells us of the Risen Lord revealing himself to his disciples at the Sea of Tiberias. Jesus chose the Apostles as witnesses to His mission and true identity. If anyone among them thought that Jesus had some other way of telling the world about Himself, these thoughts were dismissed when they realized that they were the means; they would be God s instruments. As followers of Christ, we too become God s instruments. We are challenged to live as Jesus did with an outpouring of love and compassion for others. The Annual Catholic Appeal, with its theme, Blessed are the Merciful for They Shall Obtain Mercy invites each of us to help bring Christ into the lives of those who seek His presence. It is an opportunity for each of us to unite as a Catholic community and to reach out to serve others the hungry, the homeless, the unemployed, the distressed, the unchurched, our children, and the elderly. This weekend you are invited to participate in the 2016 Annual Catholic Appeal. Please respond by pledging a sacrificial gift to this year s campaign.
