4 ST. IGNATIUS THE MARTYR PARISH CHRISTMAS GIFT & BAKE SALE Saturday, December 16, 2017 **** 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. **** Parish Fundraiser: The CWL will be hosting our Christmas Gift and Bake. Sale. This is a Parish Fundraiser and as always, we depend on the generosity of our parishioners for their generous donations of baked goods. We are asking for the following donations for: GIFT TABLE: New & Gently Used Items Only, PLEASE. BAKE TABLE: We will gladly accept donations for our Bake Table Cookies, pies, cakes, breads, squares, loaves, etc. Please have your donation(s) ready to go directly on the bake table on plates and priced, ready to serve, (that is, cut, divided into appropriate amounts and appropriately wrapped and priced,). DROP-OFF TIMES: Donations of Baked Goods and Gift Items will be accepted on December 15th from 1-4pm and 6-8pm.

6 ARCHDIOCESE OF OTTAWA THE SULTAN AND THE SAINT: Broadcast on PBS Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 8PM Franciscans collaborated with Unity Productions Foundation, a Muslim film company dedicated to interfaith dialogue and education through media, to produce a new documentary/drama entitled The Sultan and the Saint. This film tells the story of St. Francis of Assisi and Sultan Al-Kamil of Egypt, using both Christian and Muslim sources. Mark your calendars and/or set your DVR.
