2 Dear Parishioners: This week we celebrate the feast of the Epiphany when three kings came before the Christ child bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. As they arrived in Jerusalem they asked how to find the newborn king. We saw His star at its rising and have come to do him homage. Mt 2:2 How often have we failed to give our Lord homage? The greatest gift we have received from God was the gift of His son. The greatest gift we can offer Him is the gift of ourselves. These past weeks I received many cards, letters and gifts from family, friends and parishioners. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Know how much I appreciate all you do for me. Thank you also to those who made our Christmas experience so beautiful The school concert was very well done. Thank you Vicky and Aleta and all who helped prepare the children. Thank you to our choirs, choir directors and cantors. Thank you to our readers, communion distributors and ushers. Thank you to all who helped decorate the Church especially our Music Director Mary Dillenburg and everyone who made the Christmas experience beautiful - thank you. When I was first assigned to Holy Trinity Parish in Casco, I would pass a sign going into town that read: Wise men still seek him we need to be those wise men and woman who always in search of our Lord.
