As we see elsewhere in Scripture, doubt is not a bad thing as long as it is sincerely looking for the truth. Our Lord seems to welcome his doubts. Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe. (John 20:27) The saints tell us that in prayer they have seen the wounds of Christ and that glorious light shines through the holes in Jesus hands. We can ask for the same vision. Jesus, we long to see your face and your glorious wounds. The Resurrected Jesus is placed in our hands in the Eucharist. With Thomas, we respond, My Lord and my God! Food Collection The St. Vincent de Paul Society would like to thank the parish for bringing in approximately 46 pounds of food to the Easter Sunday Food Collection. The food was taken to St. Martin's in Cecil, and SAFPARC. Also, during the month of March, the ST. Vincent de Paul Society helped six families with utilities, four families with furniture, one family with rent, and six families with clothing, totaling $547. Thank you for helping us to help others. The Knights of Columbus will be having Corporate Communion on Sunday, April 31, at 9:00am Mass at St. Martin s in Cecil.
