We aim to have over 350 families pictured in our directory as we prepare for our 150th Anniversary. To accomplish this we need the following, please: 12 volunteer spots to oversee sign-ups for the directory (after Masses in July) 99 volunteer spots of 2.5 hours each to welcome and verify families as they come in the first and third week of August to have their pictures taken 350+ families to sign up online or manually when registration begins in July for their pictures to be taken the first and third week of August If you hear our Lord saying, Arise! kindly step forward and help us make our picture directory a success. The Johnson Bus drivers bring our Religious Education students to class every Wednesday at no extra charge to anyone. Vacation Bible School CANCELLED We regretfully announce that VBS has been cancelled due to lack of participants and volunteers. The Pastoral Council is planning a gathering to celebrate Father Luke s 5th Anniversary of becoming a priest. The celebration will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 downstairs in the cafeteria. Social Hour will begin at 5:30 with dinner being served at 6:30. Admission to the celebration will be by advanced ticket sales only. The tickets are $8.00. Tickets are available for purchase in the Parish Center office with Linda Mathieu. SCRIP Please look for us in the Gathering Space after all Masses THIS weekend. We will have the usual cards in stock (Kwik Trip, Luigi s, El Tequila, Farm inn, Angie s, DQ, and WalMart) You can also place an order for many of the other businesses who participate in the SCRIP program. We have order forms on our table. Orders are place first thing on Monday mornings and are available by Thursday afternoon or Friday morning of the same week! 4 My name is Luke Alvarez. I've been a student at Sacred Heart School for 3 years. I really like all the teachers here, and how they teach. Also going to this school I grew in my faith tremendously. I like the smaller class sizes. My most favorite thing is playing basketball with my friends. I also love the food here, it's delicious. I am grateful for the support from the parish. -Luke Alvarez My name is Dan Corn. I ve been at this school for about 4 years. I liked most of the teachers here, I liked that our classes are smaller than the middle school. I liked that my coaches for basketball never judged anyone by how they shoot or by how they look, neither did the teachers, I loved the food the most because Mrs. Tanya made the best pizza and the best dirt cake. Gym was my favorite class this year. - Daniel Corn My name is Henry Smith. This is my ninth year attending Sacred Heart Catholic School. The thing that helped me at Sacred Heart School was all the help I got from the teachers, and all the support they gave us throughout the years. I also enjoyed playing all the sports that we were offered here. The food they serve here is also very good, and they always make sure you are fed. - Henry Smith My name is Riley Tucker and I have been attending Sacred Heart for 9 years. I have learned a lot here at this school. First, I have learned to discipline myself. I have learned self control through the things that the teachers have shown to us. Another thing I ve gained is a deeper understanding of my faith. While attending RE at my parish, I knew significantly more than the others and I could answer questions with ease. Another valuable lesson I have learned was respect. Sacred Heart has taught me many important life lessons that I will use throughout my entire life. - Riley Tucker My name is Peter Fuller. This is my second year a Sacred Heart. I was at Sacred Heart in third grade and now in eighth. I am very thankful for the small classes. The teachers have all been cheerful and encouraging. Going here has allowed me to grow in my faith and learning. I have become a better student through the help of the teachers. The teachers have pushed me in many good ways. I am very happy that my parents chose to enroll my at Sacred Heart. - Peter Fuller My name is Demetrius Kaquatosh and I have been attending school here for three years. Mrs. Lundt and Mr. Marohl really helped during this school year. I appreciate the small class sizes. I am glad that I was able to play basketball. I loved the lunches they provided for us. I wish this school good luck next year. - Demetruis Kaquatosh 4 My name is RJ Waukau and this is my ninth year here at Sacred Heart. I like how I have grown in my faith. I have really enjoyed the small classes and all the work the teachers did for us. I played basketball for Sacred Heart for 4 years and it was super fun. I will appreciate all the things this school has done for me. - Ronald (RJ) Waukau My name is Jonah Alex Zuiches. I have been here for 9 years. I enjoyed being here and the people that have helped me on my way. I enjoyed the people here by what they did for me. They have helped me with my homework, sports, and my religion. I really appreciate everything they do by going out of their way. I will miss the people here when I leave. This school is a better place knowing it's in the Staff s hands. - Jonah Zuiches
