And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age. - Matthew 28:19-20 PARISH VISION STATEMENT They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers. Awe came upon everyone and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles<they ate their meals with exultation and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved. - Acts 2:42 AS A PARISH, WE WILL FULFILL THE MISSION AND LIVE THE VISION BY... Becoming a worshiping people who give praise and glory to God by keeping the Lord s day Holy, by celebrating Holy Mass on Sunday, and by encountering the Lord Jesus in the sacramental life and daily prayer. Becoming a missionary people who live our Catholic faith on a daily basis in witness of the Lord Jesus to the world; to our family, our neighbors, our friends, and our co-workers. In this way Jesus is known by the fruit of our lives and in our love for others; this is at the heart of evangelization and catechesis. Becoming a merciful people who put our faith into action by practicing the spiritual and corporal works of mercy: The Spiritual Works of Mercy: instructing, advising, consoling, and comforting The Corporal Works of Mercy: feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and imprisoned, and burying the dead

Please come and see the variety of cards available. Proceeds go to support Knight youth activities like the basketball free throw contest, pro-life poster and essay contests and rosaries for First Communion and Confirmation. PARISH DIRECTORIES HAVE ARRIVED Our Life Touch Parish Directories have arrived! Every family that had their portrait taken will receive a free copy of the directory along with their pictures. After the free directories have been distributed to those families who were photographed, any remaining directories will be available to purchase the weekend of the 17 th and 18 th for $10. They can be purchased after all Masses or in the Parish Office during normal business hours. Please note that only a limited supply is available. One side has St. Mark and the Lion and invites you to place it in the basket at collection time if you give online. The other side has instructions for our text to give program. Thank you for helping to support Parent Club MARCH FOR LIFE IN OLYMPIA St. Mark will charter a bus for the March for Life Tuesday, January 22 nd, 2019 in Olympia. We leave by 7:15 am and return by 3:00 pm. Due to a scheduling conflict the Mass for Life will not be at St. Martin s this year. Stay tuned for the new location. Sign-up procedure will be announced soon. USBORNE BOOK FAIR Come to the portable library here on campus next Sunday, November 18 th after all Masses for the Usborne Book Fair. You ll find a wonderful and wide selection of books for babies and early readers through young adult readers. Not only can you start your Christmas shopping early but St. Mark Parish School receives 50% of the sales! ST. MARK PARISH AUCTION 2019 The event of the season will be Saturday, May 11 th, 2019! St. Mark will bring you the Orient Express for a night of fun, community and raising money for our school. Mark your calendars and help us make this year s auction a night to remember.
