The Little Blue Book Six -minute reflections on the Sunday Gospel of Year C Six minutes a day. That s what you re asked to give during these next 43 days-the 23 days of the Advent season and the 20 days of the Christmas season. Each 24-hour day has 240 six minutes packages. During the Advent and Christmas seasons, you re asked to give one of those to the Lord. The Little Blue Book provides the framework for you to enjoy one of our oldest traditions of prayer called lectio divina sacred reading. We take a short Scripture passage and simply let God speak to us through the works, guiding us to reflections that sometimes seem to come from nowhere. People are often surprised at how easy it is to pray this way and how deep such prayer can be. It can change your day change your life. Elgin Ave. Sturgeon Bay, Wi. We encouraged everyone to bring a newborn baby item. Especially needed this year are onesies, fitted crib sheets, and diapers. These gifts will help us provide a layette of essential items for newborns in need. Following Mass, we will gather for a 10:00 brunch at Samuelson s Creek Pub and Grill (formerly the White Birch Inn) 1009 Oxford Ave, Sturgeon Bay, Wi. Edge and Life Teen Middle & High School Religious Education Parents of former students: can you send us your son/daughter s college address? We want to send them a care package around finals but need their address! We are asking for a donation of $10 to help us with the cost of shipping the care packages. Registration for our June 16th-23rd mission trip to St. Louis is officially open! We have a strong feeling that our spots will sell quickly-so get your form and deposit in ASAP.
