Michael Bernier for his liturgical presence at St. Rita these past months as he cared for the medical needs of his sister nearby. After his final 10:30am Mass this Sunday, July 8, he will take some time to travel to a family reunion and then return to his parish and Diocese of Springfield, Massachusetts. From where "Life is Worth Living" here in Webster, we send our many thanks and God's many blessings to Fr. Michael and his own Parishioners! (The parish office will forward any cards to Fr. Bernier that you may wish to send or drop off.) Parents are reminded to register their children for Faith Formation and Confirmation this fall. Monday, July 9 Time: 6:30pm For our July gathering instead of meeting at St. Rita - we will have a casual backyard cook-out instead. Even if you haven t been a regular - or ever attended - we d love to have you join us! This is a great opportunity to hang with a bunch of guys that are working on being better. Pope Francis Please stop by the display in the greeting area this weekend to pick up a specific donation request for one of our summer care packages that will be distributed to families in need around our community. RITA SCHOOL Spirit of Learning Corner Here s What s Happening... + Did you know that St. Rita s School collects Box Tops for Education to help pay for supplies needed for the students education? Last year we collected over $770 worth of Box Tops. That s a lot of money! Please continue to clip and collect Box Tops for our school over the summer. There is a donation box in the foyer of church that is emptied on a regular basis. Every Box Top helps. *Labels for Education. Note: Campbell s Soup has discontinued their label program, so we are no longer accepting any Campbell s soup labels. Thank you! + St. Rita s School accepts bottle and can returns all year long to help support the cost of special activities for the school. Donations can be dropped off in the bins at the rectory facing the church parking lot or you can bring them directly to Nickel Back Bottle and Can Return located at 659 Ridge Road. Students in Grades Kindergarten 7, who do not attend a Catholic school, are strongly encouraged to be enrolled in our parish Faith Formation Program. In order to assist those in need in our area, we will be collecting school supplies until September. You can help with your donation of pens, pencils, crayons, highlighters, markers, dry erase markers, colored pencils, pencil cases, composition notebooks, binders in 1½ inch, 2 inch and 3 inch, filler paper in regular and college lines, colored folders, 3-5 subject spiral notebooks, dividers and book bags.
