We thank you for your service to our country and for your commitment to the freedoms we enjoy. Our annual Congregational meeting will be held this morning directly following worship. We encourage all members of Mt. Hope UCC to stay and attend the meeting. We will be voting on our budget for 2018 and we will be presenting the slate of officers for approval. We thank the following people who have agreed to serve as Deacons on our Consistory: David Blakesley, Bennie Gerner (2nd term), Bob Hamlett, Lauren Moser and Cheryl Royal. Freddie Gossett has agreed to serve as Trustee, and Jeff Holt has agreed to serve on the Memorial Association. Elizabeth Craft, Consistory President ATTENTION: It's that time of year again!! Time to decorate our church!! We will be decorating on Monday,

4 November 27th. We will start out with an informal dinner in the breezeway starting at 6:00 p.m. followed by decorating at 6:30. Please plan on attending!! It's always a wonderful way to start the Christmas season!! Safety Measures: Outside doors around the building will be locked between Sunday School and Worship. Our front doors will remain open. An ad Hoc safety committee has been formed and will be meeting soon. If you have concerns or ideas about the issue of safety for our community; please contact Todd Chapmon, Chair of this committee. Upper Room Devotional Booklets: The Women's Fellowship sponsors copies of the Upper Room devotional booklets. The new booklets are available in the breezeway and also in the Narthex. If you decide to take one, please put $1.00 in the box provided. Holiday Office Hours: Office hours for the week of Thanksgiving will be altered. Shirley will be in the office on Tuesday, November 21 for the entire day. This will be the only day she will be in for the week of Thanksgiving so she will be printing the bulletin on this day. Both the Pastors and church offices will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. There will be no set hours for Friday, the 24 th. In case of an emergency, Pastor Lynne can be reached on her cell phone. Offering Envelopes: Offering envelopes for 2018 will be available in the next few weeks. If you do not have envelopes and would like them please contact the church office and Shirley will assign you some. Blessing Bag Ministry: Cut off for November Collection - November 12 th. Put together bags on - November 19 th. Deliver on - November 26 th. Thank you for your continued support with this ministry!
