I have often broke into spontaneous smiles thinking of you, the way you fill me with joy watching you be the church together. Thank you for all the gifts, cards, phone calls, and acts of kindness you showered over me and my family during Christmas. I love you and am looking forward to what God will call us to do together in 2019.

Love, Pastor Kristin Friends & Neighbors: Friends & Neighbors will meet this Tuesday, January 15 at 10:30 a.m. in the new fellowship hall to celebrate everyone s birthdays and to play bingo. Bring a couple of bingo prizes and come join us for the fun. We will enjoy homemade soup and birthday cake for lunch. Affordable Piano Lessons at Mount Hope: Interested in learning how to play the piano or increase the keyboard skills you already have? Mt. Hope's very own Ekin Ustunel has openings to teach piano students of all ages here at Mt. Hope on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. If you are interested please contact Ekin to schedule a free consultation and lessons. Children s Music: Children s music begins today, January 13 th! K through 5th grade will have music from 4:00-4:30 in the New Fellowship Hall before Young Disciples. Pre-K music time with parents will follow from 4:30-5:00, also in the New Fellowship Hall. Come prepared to sing, move around, and have fun! Young Disciples: Our Children's Ministry is in need of volunteers to prepare a meal for 12 on January 13th and January 20th at 5:40 PM. If you are interested in joining this ministry for our children and families, please contact Barbara Honey at or her at bobbiejhoney@gmail.com. You may donate the meal or be reimbursed for supplies with receipts. New Members Class: The next new member class will be January 13, 20 and 27, We will meet in the old (I like to call it retro) fellowship space at 9:15. Coffee and muffins will be provided.
