My cell: God Bless, Deacon Larry Agema GREAT ADVENTURE TIMELINE BIBLE STUDY. Last spring we sponsored the Quick Journey through the Bible study, a brief introduction to Jeff Cavins larger Great Adventure Timeline Bible study. Many of those who attended enjoyed the sessions, so we decided to begin the Great Adventure study this fall. Anyone is invited to join! The format we previously used worked well. So we will again be offering each session 3 times per week: Sundays from 3-5pm, Mondays from 6:30-8:30pm and Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30am. All 3 sessions during each week will be the same, so come to to whichever fits your schedule each particular week. We will start the week of Oct. 6. There are a total of 24 sessions, taking us into April. Sign up by October 1 to receive your packet at the first session; cost is $45 per participant or $36 for those who attended the Quick Journey. Scheduled dates: November 15, 2013 and January 17, Class will be held at the Parish Center at 6:30pm. Please call the parish office, when you wish to schedule your class date. St. Mary s in Altoona is holding a discussion series for young adult Catholics, ages 19-39, on Thursday nights at 8pm. This fall (Sept. 12 Dec. 12) they will be reflecting on prayer: studying the Lord s Prayer line by line, discussing different types of prayer, and reflecting on other standard prayers.
