Our giving often falls off during these summer months because of our absence. While I am very pleased with your response to my request for a greater financial commitment in these last weeks and months. We, however, need to insure stable income all year round. If you desire us to be present and flourishing when you return we need your support even as you travel and enjoy the summer. One way we have tried to make this easier on you is to have your contributions taken right out of your checking account. We have been doing this for quite a few years and with very few problems. The more people we have participating in this electronic giving the more stable our income will be. If you have not considered this in the past I would encourage you to consider it at this time. I hope that this summer will be a time of renewal enjoying God s creation and slowing the hustle that often occurs during the school year. I also want to take this opportunity to congratulate our parishioners that have graduated from high school or the university. Know that our prayers go with you as you enter this new phase of your journey with Christ. Please keep close to Him in prayer and your mind and heart open to His will for you. If you stay close to him he will help you through whatever lies ahead, and your greatest desires will only be met by following his path. As I go to my final year in Canon Law studies, as always I will keep you in my daily prayers, and ask that you continue to hold me in yours. I look forward to returning and continuing the joyful work of being your pastor. Asking God s blessings to come upon you and stay with you forever. In Christ Fr. Bill Baptism Classes. Parents who will be having a child baptized are required to attend one of the Baptism classes. Scheduled dates July 15, 2011 & Sept 16, Classes will be held at the Parish Center at 6:30pm. Please call the parish office, when you wish to schedule your class date. We recommend that you attend these classes during your pregnancy, before your baby is born. Baptisms are scheduled on the 2nd weekend of the month at Masses or other times by appointment. Monthly Bulletin Announcements MONTH 2: Developing Baby I can jump! Spiritual Adoption Program- May Your baby is making progress developing all of his/her external features and internal organs. His/ her brain is functioning at 40 days. His/her mother can hear the baby s heartbeat now on an ultrasonic stethoscope. Baby-teeth buds are present at 6 ½ weeks. And it has been reported that a two-month old baby can suck its thumb. From this moment, your spiritually adopted baby grows and refines its body. But everything your child needs to survive after birth is already present by the end of the eighth week.

The Center for International Education at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire needs the help of enthusiastic community members interested in being Host Friends to an international student. Hosts provide a 3 day home stay (August 26-29) to new international students before they begin orientation and move into their residence halls. They then keep in touch with their student once a month during their stay at UW Eau Claire.
