2 Page 2 From the Pastor Think about the people who lift your spirit. These people lift up, appreciate, and affirm others. They are encouragers, much like Barnabas. The six times he is mentioned in Scripture, he is cheering on others. We can see the results; he changed the trajectory of people s lives. Paul and John Mark, for example, were both grateful for how Barnabas believed in them when no one else wanted to take a chance. What about us? Who do we need to encourage? Who do we need to take under our wings and develop? People need encouragement. The voice of affirmation and appreciation is clearly distinguished over the endless noise of critics and cynics. Don t underestimate the power of our encouragement to others. Do it today! It was good to welcome Jeffrey and Elizabeth SoRelle this past Sunday. I hope you will get to know their family over the coming weeks. We have had numerous guests in our services over the past weeks. Continue to invite and welcome new people to our fellowship. We can have an eternal impact in our community. This Sunday, we will finish our I Will series. I hope you will be here for the conclusion of a very important series of messages.
