2 Page 2 From the Pastor WEEKLY REPORT August 7, 2016 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, -Ephesians 1:3 We have all heard the statement, One good deed deserves another. Think of it as one deed should set off a chain reaction of subsequent good deeds. Maybe in the church we would say, One good blessing deserves another. In this one little verse of Ephesians, we see we are the recipient of the blessings and God is the source of our blessings. Our blessings come to us through the Holy Spirit as we are filled (Eph. 5:18; Gal 5:22-23). Every blessing is ours in Christ. Right back at God! How might we bless God? First, realize the riches He has bestowed on us. Next, thank Him for the riches He has bestowed on us. Then, obey Him and remain faithful in the riches He has bestowed on us. Finally, praise Him for the riches He has bestowed on us. Let s bless God! It was a joy to welcome Grace Martinez, Mason Shomaker, Ed and Pam Davis to our fellowship Sunday! I am looking forward to getting to know them better. 6 The Youth are participating in a Homeless Outreach and are preparing Blessing Bags for the Homeless. Deadline to return items are Sunday, August 21.
