2 Page 2 From the Pastor Thank you to our hostess team, everyone who brought food, and those who added to the fellowship of our Agape Meal last Sunday evening. It was good to be together and observe the Lord s Supper in a pretty casual atmosphere. I know our days have been a little heavy, but I want to encourage everyone to keep edifying one another and holding each other up in prayer. It helps to know that the moment we were born, God was there as an unseen witness, smiling at our birth. God did not need to create us, but He chose to create us for His enjoyment. We exist for His benefit, His glory, His purpose, and His delight. Revelation 4:11 says, Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created. Bringing enjoyment to God, living for His pleasure, is the first purpose of our lives. When we fully understand this truth, we will never again have a problem with feeling insignificant or forgotten. I also need to catch up on some new members! In recent weeks, we welcomed Blake Welch, Conie Eisenbach, Dave & Su-An Holbrook, Jeff, Ginger, Erin, and Jackson Montgomery to our fellowship. Be on time for church, we will be having baptism in both services this Sunday! Praying! Bro.
