7 Eldoes Corner No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. CongratulaTions to Arlene Woods who won our Raffle Basket at the 350 Dinner on March 10 th. The basket was packed full of wonderful items including many gift cards to local businesses. Special thanks to Pat Francis and Linda DeLaricheliere for their help in getting donations for this basket. Now that spring seems to be around the corner we are starting our annual Spring Raffle. This fundraiser includes drawings every week for ten weeks. See any Eldoe if you would like to purchase tickets. We thank Louise King for agreeing to be this year s chairperson. As you do your spring house cleaning, keep us in mind. We will need to add to our collection of jewelry for this fall s craft bazaar. Necklaces, watches, rings, bracelets, and earrings (in good condition) are especially needed. If you have items to donate, you can put them aside or contact me to arrange for picking them up now. We appreciate all contributions as our jewelry table is always popular! Our April meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on the 19 th. This month we will elect officers for the coming year. April birthdays include the following Eldoes: Pauline LaFramboise, Connie Leccese, Ruth Martel, and Elaine Neary. Happy Birthday to all of you! Remember that you are eligible for a birthday discount of $5.00 at a Steak Night during April. We want to take this opportunity to thank PER Rick Boucher for working with us this past year and to congratulate the newly elected Exalted Ruler, Craig Garrand, and his suite of officers on their recent installation. Take care, Beth Dusablon, President Our Scholarship year is coming to a close with the March 31st deadline for the 916 Scholarship Awards.
