I would ask that you invite a someone who you have seen in a while to an event. Lent is a great time to reconnect. This last month has remained true to being the busiest for our council. I would like to thank all those who helped with their time and dealt with all the challenges to make our Council s March s events successful. Also with Easter on the third Sunday of the month, Sunday Breakfast for April will not take place. As the Lenten Season progresses, I would offer Pope Francis s words from his Lenten message, May the Holy Spirit, through whom we are as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything, sustain us in our resolutions and increase our concern and responsibility for human destitution, so that we can become merciful and act with mercy.
