I would like to encourage everyone to attend your lodge or chapter meetings as often as possible and see how we are progressing. The players included Marlene Porter; Captain, Danny Porter, Jesse Tengowski, Jacki Duggan, Bill Duggan, Jeannie Brinkley, David Brinkley and Sherry Bodie. We thank these players for making Suffolk Moose proud. Corn Hole..Suffolk and Portsmouth Lodge have started playing once a month on a home and home basis. We travel to Portsmouth and play on the second Monday of the month and they come to our lodge on the fourth Sunday. Fun is had by both lodges and we hope to continue this for a long time. 4 Please excuse our dust; however we do not think that you will mind the remodeling of our rest rooms. This has been approved by the membership and is awaiting approval from the General Governors office to start work. All four rest rooms and the one in the kids room will be remodeled. VBC Contracting has been given the contract and will start work within two weeks of approval. We hope this will be better for all members. Spring has sprung and our new year begun! I want to thank our co-workers in the Women of the Moose for giving me this opportunity to serve them. Our new officers include me as Senior Regent and Pat McGinley as Recorder. We still have two vacant offices vacant; Junior Regent and Secretary/Treasurer. This is a great opportunity for new co-workers to get involved in our MEMORIAL SERVICE MAY 20, :00 pm There will be a Joint Memorial Service to Honor the Women of the Moose and the Loyal Order of the Moose who passed away May 1, 2017 through April 30, The Ceremony will begin with a light lunch at 1:00 pm followed by the service. Letters of invitation have been sent to family members and friends. Moose Members are invited to attend. NOTE: The Social Quarters will be CLOSED during the Ceremony!! This letter was sent to us and I would like to share it with you: Members, I would like to express our appreciation for the kindness your Officers and Members showed my family and me!! On March 3 rd we stopped for a relaxing time after traveling from Pennsylvania for a funeral for our son-in-law. In fact we were announced as the Moose Members from Pa. We could not have been treated any better by the officers and members attending that night and made our stay a little easier to bear!! We cannot express how everyone there made us feel at home!! We will certainly recommend your Moose Club to any of our friends traveling your way and we will stop any time we are in your area!!
