UMW Garage Sale On August 2, 3, (8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m) and 4, (8-11:30 a.m.) the United Methodist Women will be hosting their annual Garage Sale in the CLC and Fellowship Hall! You will find incredible deals on countless items - and all proceeds go to support local missions. The United Methodist Women are asking you to start collecting items to donate to the Garage Sale that are clean and usable, something you would put in your own garage sale. They are not accepting any computers or printers and will only accept flat screen TVs. Keith King for a special Sunday morning study, Telling the Story: Just Walk Across the Room. Beginning August 5, the class will look at how we can make a difference in the lives of the people we see every day. Drawing on the powerful book Just Walk Across the Room, we will look at how we can create relationships that change lives. Individuals and Sunday School classes are invited to attend and learn to tell our stories s and open doors of faith for the people in our lives. Youth Discovery Weekend is a retreat held at the Downtown Campus for two nights (August 10-12), starting on Friday at 7 p.m. and ending Sunday at noon. The weekend is focused on middle school students, while high school students are involved in leadership roles.
