LifeLight Turns 20 LifeLight started 20 years ago on Easter Sunday in This year, we will celebrate what LifeLight has done for St. Luke s over the past 20 years during all worship services on April 8. Contemporary worship was in its infancy in the Methodist Church and St. Luke s was taking a bold step for a traditional church. As we start the sermon series, Music That Changed the World, we will be looking at how Contemporary Worship Music has changed the church world. Threefold Book Signing Stop by Threefold next Sunday after worship for a special food tasting and book signing. St. Luke s member, Dr. Mark Mellow will be available to sign his book, The Good Neighbor: Stories That Teach Families How to Live and Love Well. In this book, he applies important, recurring biblical themes to help us bridge the increasingly wide divide that our world is experiencing. Saturday, April 14, is Rebuilding Day in the Akers Park neighborhood in South OKC. Volunteers will blitz the area with repairs and renovations to make the homes safe, dry, and warm. Working with Rebuilding Together, St. Luke s is sponsoring a house and we need volunteers to help. You can sign up today at the Welcome Center. Women of Faith Begins New Bible Study Experience God s peace in your life through a new Women of Faith Bible study by Max Lucado - Anxious for Nothing. Women of all ages are invited to this Bible study that begins April 5 from 12-1 p.m. in the Mansion Library and is held every Thursday through May 3.
