We have found true love in Christ; we know mercy and grace through Him. Christ came to bring us life and a life more abundant. God wants us to prosper in our relationships. Our greatest riches are found with God, friends, and family. We find wealth in giving back and making a difference. affirmation of faith As a family of faith, let us affirm our faith together. Today Is Tour Sunday For nearly 128 years - since the fi rst Sunday after the Oklahoma Land Run - St. Luke s has been dedicated to sharing the message of Christ, growing in our faith, and serving the community. Come learn about the saints on whose shoulders we stand! Jim Robson will be leading two tours of the church today. The fi rst tour begins after the 9:40 LifeLight service - the second tour begins after the 10:50 Traditional service. The tour starts in the Gallery, across from the historical timeline in the main hallway. Reception for Rev. Drew Haynes There is a reception for Rev. Drew Haynes throughout the morning today at St. Luke s Edmond. All are encouraged to come by or send a card. Drew is answering a call to return to engineering work at Tinker Air Force Base. While we celebrate this new opportunity for him, we are saddened at his departure. Drew has been an incredible asset to all the ministries of St. Luke s and we would welcome him back to staff at any time! Wendy Lambert will take you through Germany and England and will visit the sites that are important in the lives of Martin Luther, Charles Wesley, and John Wesley. You will also have time to tour sites related to WWII in Germany and have some free time to tour London. The trip will last from September 1 through September 13. Youth Week Here it is - one of the biggest and best events on our summer calendar... Youth Week! From July 20-23, all 6th-12th grade youth will enjoy a service project and fun activities every day.
