Grant that we would embrace the deeper meaning of the holiday and share the Light of Christ with the world. Telling the Story New Sermon Series Starts Next Sunday The Bible was written long ago by many different people on the other side of the world. Yet, throughout scripture we find a familiarity with the message. We relate to the successes and failures, the relationship struggles, and the need to be accepted. We hear our own fears, as well as our dreams. The more we know about the Bible, the more we learn about ourselves and those around us. That s because God s story is our story. In 2018, we seek to learn more about how the stories in scripture tell us about God. We will be growing in our faith, sharing the message of God s love, and listening to the ways that God continues to work in the world. Be a part of Telling the Story in 2018! Wednesday Night Alive The spring session of Wednesday Night Alive (WNA) offers classes for children, youth, and adults and runs from January 17 through March 21. Dinner is served at 5:15 p.m. ($5 for adults - children 12 and under are free). Classes start at 6:30 p.m. WNA is a great opportunity for the entire family to grow in their faith. Confirmation students are usually 6th graders, but parents of older youth who have yet to participate in Confirmation are also welcome. There is no cost.
