Travel to Washington D.C. in 2019 Visit the incredible Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C. - the largest collection of biblical artifacts and texts in the world! St. Luke s is offering two trips next year: April 1-5, led by Rev. Wendy Lambert, and May (for adults in their 20 s and 30 s), led by Dr. Bob Long. Both trips will include a few other culturally signifi cant sites. Walk in Paul s Footsteps in 2019 Rev. Wendy Lambert will lead a once-in-a-lifetime trip that follows the footsteps of the Apostle Paul throughout Greece. The trip will be October 14-23, 2019, and will visit sites that were instrumental in the formation of the early church. It will be an experience that deepens your understanding of Scripture and your relationship with God. Travel to Italy and Germany in 2020 Dr. Bob and Marsha Long and Rev. Josh and Brittany Attaway will be leading a trip to Italy and Germany in The trip will be highlighted by the opportunity to see the Passion Play in Oberammergau that is performed in that town every ten years since The trip is June 1-14, 2020 and will feature stops in Rome, Assisi, Florence, Venice, Innsbruck, and others. Confirmation Parent Meeting Confi rmation is an important part of a student s journey as they learn more about Christian beliefs and living a life of faith. To answer any questions parents may have about the upcoming class (which starts in late January and ends on Confi rmation Sunday in May), there will be a meeting on Sunday, January 13, at 10:50 a.m. and noon in Room 214. Confi rmation students are usually 6th graders, but parents of older youth who have yet to participate in Confi rmation are also welcome. There is no cost.
