The RCIA Kick Off is coming soon! The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, RCIA, is an opportunity for adults seeking to learn more about Catholic faith and those seeking full initiation into Catholic Christian faith through sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion. The sessions take place each Tuesday night from 7 to 8:30 pm, in parish center living room, beginning on September 19th. Please call parish office or rcia@sfcabrini.org to sign up. There is no fee for those who choose to participate. New Lector Training Tomorrow night in church 7:15pm or Saturday Sept 16 at 9:30 AM. Please prayerfully consider if God is calling you to serve parish as a Lector! It is a blessing and an honor to proclaim God's Word and to read Prayers of Faithful at Holy Mass! Training is provided. Any parishioner who has received Sacrament of Confirmation (and is of high school age) may serve as a Lector. Topics include, "Who is Jesus?", "Why and how should I read Bible?", and "How does God guide us?" Friends in Faith Who: Friends in Faith Ministry (including our very own Teri Barnett, SFC music teacher and 5:30 PM music minister) Where: St. Lucy Parish (Campbell) When: Thursday Sept 14th 7-8:30 pm Why: To raise awareness for Safe Park Program The Safe Park Program at St. Lucy Parish in Campbell seeks to provide a Safe Parking environment for those who are living in ir cars to park safely during night. The Diocese of San Jose Music Ministers "Friends in Faith" music ministry will present a live performance at St Lucy Parish on Thursday, Sept 14, 2017 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Due to recent hurricane disaster, donations will be used for hurricane relief and St. Lucy Safe Park Program. This provides safe parking throughout week, guests must be pre-registered to park. 4 Cursillo Social at SFC This Thursday SFC Cursillistas! We have a wonderful opportunity to hold a mini-social event on Thurs, Sept 14, at 7pm in Parish Center Dining Room. This will be an opportunity to get to know one anor and discuss how to make Cursillo grow in our Parish. Registra on forms for all grade level classes are ready and can be found in church ves bule, parish front office and in Rel Ed office.
