Science has not been able to solve the mystery of how the universe came into being or explain exactly what continues to give it creative energy and masterful design. No religion asserts that it has found words to name fully the ineffable mystery of God, for no matter what name we use, God always transcends our limited ability to understand. God is a mystery to be believed, not known. And yet, we Christians believe that our name for God best expresses that inexpressible mystery: God is the Most Holy Trinity of three persons united in a communion of love, pouring forth that creative, saving, sanctifying love into the world. FRANCES CABRINI performing 8 ultrasound screenings on JULY 7 TH and 8 TH Pre-registration will take place in the School Plaza after all Masses the weekend prior, July 1st and 2nd Are you one of the many that have high blood pressure or high cholesterol, diabetes, or you have family history of heart disease, stroke, or internal cancers? Men s Club / Monday, June 12th in Essig Hall SFC Men s Club / Rosary at 6:30p in the Church with dinner at 7:00p in the Hall. The Men s Club gathers on the 2nd Monday of each month. All men in our parish community, especially school parent fathers, are welcome to join their fellow parishioners for prayer, fellowship and updates on church and school projects. The meeting includes an excellent dinner cooked up by some of the fellas. Let Us Pray for the people that are in our parish community who are homebound, sick, recovering, or are confined to rest homes, that Jesus be their strength and comfort. 4 Celebrating Fr. Paolo's ministry at SFC. We hope you can join us! On Sunday, June 25th at 5 PM we will have a farewell dinner for Fr. Paolo in Essig Hall. The first day at the new assignments for both Frs. Paolo and our new priest Gabriel Lee will be July 1. Fr. Paolo will next move to St. Christopher Parish and Fr. Michael, the Parish Staff, School Staff and Parish Council wish to acknowledge his exceptional love for and care of our Parish and Parishioners. Fr. Paolo be will be missed. The Bible Timeline is a Catholic Bible study by Jeff Cavins that will take you on a journey through the entire Bible and brings you deep into each period of salvation history, so that you can discover the amazing story woven throughout all of Scripture. The SFC Annual Picnic this year, normally the first Sunday in June, has been cancelled due to work on the athletic field. Rather than trying to put together a slimmed-down picnic with limited kid toys and events, which we all know are the highlights of the afternoon, the decision at the April Parish Council meeting was to cancel the picnic and focus on having a great evening sending Fr.
