Better Choices Better Health Program Workshops Location: St. Frances Cabrini Church, Parish Center Dining Room Time: Saturdays, 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Date: May 20th - June 24th Workshops are for anyone dealing with the challenges of living with an ongoing health condition like diabetes, asthma, heart disease, and high cholesterol. Better Choices, Better Health is a self-management program offered for 6 weeks by 2 trained leaders from your community. Learn about stress management, dealing with pain & fatigue, weight management, decision making and so much more! We carry many titles that will be sure to please readers of all ages. The Scholastic Book Fair will also be collecting donations to benefit Ordinary Angels. Ordinary Angels is an organization that helps displaced families in transitional housing in San Jose. The collected donations will be used to purchase books for groups supported by Ordinary Angels. The Scholastic Book Fair will be open Monday, May Friday, May 19 in Kelley Hall. All are welcome! There will be an 8:15 PM reception to follow. 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima The Catholic world is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima this year. The first apparition was on May 13, The miracle of the sun took place on October 13, To kick off the six month celebration, the Evangelization Committee is hosting a movie night on Saturday, May 6th. The 13th day is the story of three shepherd children whom our Blessed Mother appeared to in Fatima, Portugal. If you are not familiar with this story, then plan on coming with your family (recommended age is 8 and up) to Essig Hall following the 5 PM mass Saturday evening. The cost is $5 per person or $20 per a family of four or more which will include BBQ hotdogs, chips and bottled water. Popcorn will be served for the movie - 7:15 PM until 8:45 PM.
