Int. - MG 5:30p.m. Ann Morgan - FP All gave some, some gave all is a known phrase amongst military veterans, and on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 10:00 AM, Saint Frances Cabrini parishioners are encouraged to join with veterans of Santa Clara County to participate in a tribute to four men who exemplified what it means to serve God, Country, and fellow man, and who demonstrated the ultimate meaning of faith, love, and sacrifice. They willingly, and in communion, gave their all their lives so others could live. This annual tribute, the eighth at St. Frances Cabrini, is held in honor of four chaplains of WWII, of four differing faiths, who sacrificed their life when they gave their life preserver to young men when their troop ship, USTS Dorchester, with over 900 souls aboard, was torpedoed and sank in the icy North Atlantic during the early morning hours of February 3, Can we give one hour of our life time in memory of four men who gave their life to eternity for their God, Country, and fellow man? All Veterans are invited. The South Bay Blue Star Mothers of America will participate in this annual event. Next Sunday, February 7th is our annual Scout Sunday for all girls and boys in a scouting program including: Little Flowers, Daisy, Brownies, Girl Scouts, Heritage Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Knights. We will go down the main isle two by two, flags first followed by the girl scouts, boy scouts and Leaders. The first few pews on both sides will be reserved.
