A compassionate, trustworthy person is needed to assist an elderly woman with ea ng lunch and supper on Saturdays, as well as, fill in other days of the week as needed or available. We are so proud of your accomplishments! Virtus Training At Sacred Heart Good News! A VIRTUS training has been scheduled at our parish on Tuesday, May 23rd at 6:00pm in the parish hall. This training is required for Safe Environment Compliance for any adult (18 years or older) who comes into contact with youth as part of their ministry. Parish Volunteers Who Are REQUIRED To A end the Training: -Religious Educa on & RCIA Teachers & Subs tutes -Choir Members, Ushers, Eucharis c Ministers, & Lectors -Youth Ministry Volunteers (Includes chaperones & drivers) -Building or Landscape Maintenance Volunteers *We also invite adults who are not currently volunteers to a end this training to learn tools they can use to help keep children safe. 4 Congratula ons to our 2017 Confirma on Class Summer Voca ons Camps The Voca on Office of the Diocese of Savannah invites all rising 7 th to 12 th graders to Voca on Camp this summer at the Georgia Primi ve Bap st Youth Camp, 7159 Hillview Road, Collins, GA. Call to Holiness for girls will be from June 25 th to June 28 th and Voca o Dei for boys will be from June 28 th to July 1 st. Cost is $70 per camper and $50 per extra camper from the same family. Registra on opens on April 20, 2017 at ons, follow the logo Fire Within. Scholarships are available and spaces are limited. Prayer In Ac on Youth Mission Trip The Diocese of Savannah is hos ng 2 sessions of the Prayer and Ac on mission program from June and June This year youth will be working in Savannah and will be hosted by Saint Peter the Apostle Parish on Wilmington Island. Throughout the week the students will paint, clean, do yard work, and perform other meaningful tasks for the poor, disabled, and elderly. In the evenings the team will lead Colla o, the retreat por on of Prayer & Ac on. The mission is open to all high school students, including those entering 9th grade in the Fall and any current seniors who will graduate this Spring.
