Women s Guild Please make a note that the Sacred Heart Women s Guild will meet again on Tuesday, March 19th at 7:00pm (not March 12th) Bishop s Annual Appeal 4 weeks ago we began the Bishop s Annual Appeal (BAA) for This year s theme is Who is my Neighbor? Your sacrificial gi and prayers will help make this year s appeal a success. In order to allow our parish contribu ons to be tallied more accurately this year, please send your pledges and payments directly to the Diocese of Savannah using the BAA envelopes in the narthex. Please make sure to write your check to Diocese of Savannah with Sacred Heart, Vidalia in the memo line so we get credit. First Sunday Building Fund Collec on We will begin having special collec ons for our building fund on the first weekend of each month. Please bring your monthly pledges for the Building the Body of Christ Building Fund to masses on the first weekend of each month. Please use the building fund envelopes you received in the mail or label your contribu on so your dona on can be credited to your Capital Campaign total. If you did not receive a set of Capital Campaign offertory envelopes, please pick up a box in the narthex. Spanish and English sets are available. Local Lenten Retreat: Living Lent Radically Our neighboring parish, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Baxley, GA has invited our parish to an upcoming Lenten Retreat on Saturday, March 9th from 9:30am-4pm. The retreat will guide par cipants in how to live Lent radically as a me for las ng change and joy. It will be led by Cenacle Sisters Barbara Young and Susan Arcaro. Sister Young and Sister Arcaro are both experienced educators, spiritual directors, retreat directors, and facilitators of faith forma on programs. They are both adjunct lecturers at Spring Hill College s Cer ficate Program in Spiritual Direc on. Spring Hill College, located in Mobile, Alabama is the oldest Catholic college in the Southeast and the third oldest Jesuit college in the U.S. Please consider driving just 30 minutes south to Baxley for this special Lenten opportunity.
