4 2018 Gartland Service Awards Bishop Gregory J. Hartmayer bestowed the Bishop Gartland Service Award on 79 volunteers from throughout South Georgia at the Cathedral of Saint John the Bap st in Savannah on Sunday, Nov. 25, Parishioners, Hilda Self and Julie Hopkins, received the award for their longstanding service to the Catholic Church and our parish. Both Hilda & Julie served our parish through their service as dedicated staff members and parish volunteers. They con nue to give of their me, talent and treasure in ministry to our parish.
